LIVING GREEN
OR
DOING WHAT WE CAN IN ORDER TO LEAVE A MINIMAL
CARBON FOOT PRINT
How We Live

We strive to live as green as we can, with the
hopes of leaving as minimal of a carbon foot
print as possible.
How do we do this?  Its really quite simple- we
recycle as much as possible, and we reuse
before we recycle.  We have changed all of our
light bulbs to compact flourescent bulbs and try
to remember to turn off the lights when we leave
a room.  We have also sold our car, so rely on
our feet, public transportation, and the
occasional Philly Car Share or rental car to get
us from point A to Point B.
We try to eat organic and/or locally produced
foods whenever possible.
We try to conserve water by only running full
dishwasher and washing machines loads.
We air dry what we can.
We lower our thermostat in the winter and raise
it in the summer.
Its easy, its fun, and its good for you!!
Why We Do It

"Because God Said So" seems like too simple
an answer, but its the truth.  We were charged
by God to be good stewards of the Earth.
We also really like breathing Clean Air,
drinking Clean water and eating Clean Food.
We kind of want our Grand Kids and their
Grand Kids to have clean Air, Food and Water
too- oh and we like the idea of friends and
family (not to mention their Grand Kids) having
clean food, air and water.
We have been graced with one planet, and we
really like living here.
Just like our moms taught us,
it's much nicer to live in a clean place then it is
a dirty place.
